Description of the assigned teaching strategy
ACES Approach stands for Affective, Cognitive Experiences for Self-direction is based on confluent theory of education which provides interaction of the cognitive and affective components of learning. There are four phases or episodes of learning in the ACES methodology: Activity, Analysis, Abstraction, and Application.
Learning Experience
As I’ve done my lesson plans and performance tasks in this subject, I learned many things. Starting from the objectives that we have to consider to reach, the approach or strategy that is assigned to us, up to the performance tasks with rubrics, is not easy and I encountered some difficulties. Good thing is that our professor is always there for us and correcting our work to be better. These learning that we have acquired to do is very beneficial to us especially when we do our on and off campus next school year.
