Description of the assigned teaching strategy
In my demo I used the issue based approach. This approach seems to be a problema-based and community-based approach. Wherein this approach you need to relate or integrate a current issue to your lesson
Learning Experience
Being a teacher is a noble profession. Teacher should know the types of learner and their learning competencies. I have learned that in teaching a lesson you should need to use an appropriate strategy and approach. The approach I used in my demo is the issue based approach. Through the current and relevant issue in the community, I integrate or relate it to my topic which the respiratory system. It quite confuses this approach since it is related to problem based and community based approach.
I have learned that we should be aware of time or to have time management. During the activity part of my demo, I exceed the time because I let my students finish their work and that's a mistake. Learned to have authority and know how to discipline your students. Also, I have learned that teachers must engage their students in the discussion. As a teacher, we must know how to respond in the wrong answer of the students. In teaching, teacher should have passion, patient, creative, and innovative.
