Title: Geometry Museum

Goal: The students will build team work and showcase their creativity through building and administrating a mini-museum.

Covered Competencies:

  1. demonstrates understanding of the concepts of quadrilaterals

  2. to construct and describe quadrilaterals in designs, drawings and models

  3. build an exhibit modelling quadrilaterals

 

Task: Your class is business partners and you plan to build a Museum. You will exhibit models and designs of Quadrilaterals. The auditorium will serve as the mini-museum. This will be open for all viewers.

The students will have to:

  1. Make a design of your museum.

  2. Produce an outline and construct design for your quadrilateral models.

  3. Create a model of quadrilaterals.

  4. Build a mini-museum for the exhibit of quadrilaterals.

  5. Provide a short description in each quadrilateral.

  6. There are 2-3 students that is assigned in each quadrilateral to explain the model to viewers.
