Title: The Sun Actors

Goal: The learners should be able to demonstrate understanding of the sun as the main source of heat and light on earth and realize the importance of it in daily lives.

​

Covered Competencies:

1. Describe the changes in the position and length of shadows in the surroundings as the position of the Sun changes;

2. Describe the role of the Sun in the water cycle; and

3. Describe the effects of the Sun.

​

Mechanics:

• The students will be given a task to make a role playing where they will promote an awareness about the importance of Sun in our daily lives.

• They will also give some precautionary measures in planning activities to protect ourselves from the Sun.

• The presentation should be only for 3 to 5 minutes. They can group themselves into 5 or a group of 6 members.

• The students are given 1 week to prepare the role playing.

 

Task: (for the students)

You are tasked to make a role play in which you will promote awareness on the importance of Sun in our daily lives. You will also give some precautionary measures in planning activities to protect ourselves from the Sun.

The role play will only last for 3 to 5 minutes. You can group yourselves into 5 or a group with 6 members. You are given 1 week to prepare the presentation.
