Case Study #4: Post-after of a volcanic eruption
Mount Mayon is the most active volcano in the Philippines. It spewed fountains of lava and massive ash plumes that lasted a week and forced more than 50,000 villagers to evacuate in the province of Albay last January 16. The eruption of Mount Mayon left several disastrous effects to the community. Suppose that you visited the area and witnessed the effects of the volcanic eruption. You feel that the effects brought by the eruption should not happen anymore in the near future. You suddenly remembered the lesson you had about it. As you have the background knowledge on what to do, you volunteered to be a part of a strategic team that will design the preparedness plan on what should the community do when there is a volcanic eruption. As the head of the team, how will you design your plan? Make an infographic containing your plan!
