Weather Instruments
Title: Youngster Meteorologists
Goal:The students will integrate their knowledge on how to use weather instruments in real life situation.
Covered Competencies:

create a D.I.Y. weather instrument;

make a weather station using the different weather instruments and

determine the use of weather instruments
The class will be divided into 5 groups and each group will have at least 4 members. The 6 groups must have their team leader that will lead them to do their assigned task. For every group there is an assigned Weather Instrument to make.

After making their D.I.Y. Instrument, they will test it for a day.

The students will test their D.I.Y Weather Instruments.

The students will tally the data [lamdg2] they gathered and present it to the class next meeting. The data that they will tally represents the different weather components such as rain, air pressure, temperature, wind direction etc. that has an aligned weather instrument for precise measurement.

After they gather their data, they will make an exhibit of their weather instruments by building a weather station in their classroom.

In each instrument, there is a provided information on what and how to use it.
