Lesson Procedure:

The class will be divided into 2 groups. Each group will have a problem that they need to solve. For example: Barangay Maginhawa distributed 9860 packages of school supplies for some of the schools. Each school received 40 packages of school supplies. How many schools were serve?

The teacher will give her student 5 minutes to solve the problem and the students will explain the solutions that they did.

The teacher will ask her students to define division

The teacher will discuss the step by step process of dividing a 3 to 4 Digit number by 1 digit number without and with remainder

The teacher will give an activity to her students. Therefore, the class will be divided into 4 groups. Each group will have a board and marker.

The teachers will presents some problems in the board that they need to solve, and the 4 groups will compete to each other. The first group who will raise the board with correct answer will earn the points. The first group who gets the highest score will win the game.

The teacher will give another problem as an assignment.
