Topic: Angles: Acute, Right and Obtuse
Grade 4, Quarter 3rd
Goal: The students demonstrate understanding about angles and its different kinds.
Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

Measure angles using protractor.

Identify what kind of angle is the object.

Describe the characteristics of every kind of angle.

Create a figure and measure its angle/s.
Materials:
Projected and Non-projected Media, Protractor, Blackboard and Chalk
Lesson Procedure:

The teacher will ask the students to draw a figure.
-
The teacher will show different illustrations of triangles and equilateral figures.
-
The teacher will proceed to the discussion, definition of an angle and how to measure angles using protractor.

The teacher will ask the three to five students to draw a square, small and big triangles in the board.

The teacher will measure each figure.
-
From the measurement of the figures, the three kinds of angles will be introduced.

The teacher will proceed to the lesson proper.
-
The teacher will give some printed illustrations to be measured.
-
The students will identify the kind of angle through its measurement.
-
The teacher will review the topic.
-
The teacher will discuss the performance task.
